Enough is Enough is Enough

Where to begin. I don't think I'm qualified by any means to speak at length about the events that have unfolded over the span of this past week. That's not even the right way to state it. Because to say that these events 'unfolded' would be to undermine the pattern of the acts of violence made against black people that were motivated by racist tendencies and aggressions. The ideologies that lie beneath these aggressions seem to be where the core issue lies. The idea of race and whiteness have persisted to exist because of the benefits they have allotted to the people who take claim over it. There is not one singular person at fault for this. It is the system that capitalizes on the Idea.
