Today is October 19th and according to the weather app on my phone its 82 degrees out. I live in New Jersey. Yesterday high temperature records were broken all over the country, including in my home state, and the amount of times I found myself making small talk with people about how nice the weather was out was exactly the same as the amount of times I had to stop myself from exclaiming, "DON'T YOU REALIZE THIS MEANS WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE SOON???"
And according to Donald Trump logic - where everything he says isn't true is almost always true - climate change is realer than real.
Do you guys remember how warm it was this past December? I was at the end of my second to last semester of college and didn't know why I was supposed to be studying for finals because it felt like it was only the second month of classes. It was also when I was asked by multiple of my closest friends why I was wearing my wool coat if it was 65 degrees outside. "Principle," I told them. It's not supposed to be this warm out!!"
Show don't tell (unless asked).
